Institute of Community Health Care
The Institute of Community Health Care was officially approved by the Ministry of Education in October 2014, and enrollment began in the 104th (2015) academic year.
Establishment Purpose
The Institute nurtures health promotion and case management professionals to promote the health of the Taiwan community as a whole.

Development Direction
- To stimulate community dynamics, integrate community resources, foster community growth, and obtain an understanding of environmental change trends.
- Students are expected to receive certification as community planners, health managers, community health nurses, and public health practitioners upon graduation.
- Apply health promotion theories and nursing knowledge to promote the health of community groups, and implement the ideas of health autonomy and health responsibility in community health promotion, illness prevention, and health management.
- Utilize the nursing process to offer holistic and ongoing care of the highest quality that addresses the physical, mental, spiritual, social, and cultural needs of individuals, families, and communities.
- To facilitate students to pursue personal and professional development in nursing, apply research findings and engage in related research to enhance the quality of care for individuals, families, and communities, and participate in policy formulation.

Community health care practice, teaching, research, health administration, industry and non-profit organizations, etc. University graduates who are interested in community health are welcome to apply.
Qualifications for admission to our school
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from universities or colleges in Taiwan and abroad.
- Bachelor's degree from universities or colleges, such as social work, elderly care, oral health, medical management, public health, sports health, nutrition, and others.

Learning result
The internship locations of our graduate students span Taipei City, New Taipei City and Yilan County, bringing many community health services and promoting the well-being of community residents. During the internship process, students conduct community assessments for different communities and integrate into the local culture of the community. The following is an introduction to the internship results of master class students in various regions.
1. Taipei City
The following is the "Exercise and Health Promotion Program for the Elderly in Fuxing Village" written by our student Chen Yanliang for Fuxing Village, Beitou District. Yanliang made a detailed and comprehensive assessment of the community. Internship Sharing - Liang Zixuan in Guishanli, Toucheng Township (Part 1)
The postgraduates recruited by the institute have diverse backgrounds. Liang Zixuan, who is currently a clinical pharmacist, applied for the institute with a passion for community health promotion and the spirit of serving the crowd.

Zixuan's internship is located in Guishanli, Toucheng Township, Yilan County. Under the guidance of her teacher, she entered the community for internship. She interacted well with the community residents and won the trust of the community residents. She made a video about how she walked into the community and brought the health knowledge needed by residents, and she hopes to share it with everyone.

Lin Qiyun from our institute is doing an internship in Baxianli, Sanzhi District. She carefully recorded the internship process and made it into a video.
